Plain Language Summaries

Because Majāl is a multidisciplinary journal, we encourage our authors to write a Plain Language Summary (PLS) of their article to accomodate readers from multiple disciplines (or even subdisciplines). A PLS is similar to an abstract, but serves to communicate the article topic and significance using non-technical language such that it is accesible to a wide audience.
